The movements of the stars reflect the dynamics of your life.
I read and translate this mirror –
so that you can clearly see where you stand and
consciously choose your path towards your own self-development.
The movements of celestial bodies represent a kind of blueprint or mirror of the energetic constellations that form the basis for your experience and your daily situations.
For many years I have dedicated myself to the task of reading and translating this mirror in order to better understand the broader context of events and human behavior.
I am happy to assist you in recognizing and using the clues contained therein to answer your own questions.
I'm looking forward to connecting with you! Warmly,
Barbara Kissling – your astrologer

My Path♐ ✦ ♈ ✦ ♈
Until midlife, my focus was on building a career and finding my place in society. What complicated this journey was the fact that my deep interest in spirituality, astrology, and related fields continually drew me in and demanded attention.
During my school years, I devoted every spare minute to sport (figure skating) and later to music (piano). After graduating from high school, I spent two years touring the world as a professional figure skater with the renowned ice show Holiday on Ice. I thoroughly enjoyed the close-knit atmosphere and working alongside artists from all over the world. During these travels, I began studying the philosophical and spiritual teachings of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov in depth. To this day, I can recommend his books wholeheartedly. I adopted various daily rituals, including greeting the elements, nature beings, and angels each morning, as well as practising simple breathing exercises and yoga. Omraam's teachings accompanied me for many years.
After my life on the road, I worked for some time at a large international hotel in Zurich (Sheraton Atlantis), as I was not ready to leave the international environment behind. With my wide Sun–Mercury–Neptune conjunction in Sagittarius in the 9th house of long-distance travel and foreign cultures, I experience joy and meaning when working in an international setting.
During this period, I also met my long-term spiritual teacher and astrologer, Eva Gostoni, and booked my first in-depth astrological consultation at around the age of 23. From then on, I regularly invested in astrological-psychological sessions to realign my inner compass. Inspired by her example—and wishing to obtain a recognised academic qualification—I went on to study psychology, earning a Master's degree in Personality Psychology and Psychological Assessment.
I financed my studies primarily through a position in the training and human resources department of a major bank. I became increasingly ambitious, accepted a full-time position after graduation, received promotions, and travelled for business. Alongside this, I lived something of a double life. Twice a week, I attended meditation groups, met regularly with Eva Gostoni, and spent weekends participating in esoteric workshops, intuitive perception training, and many other courses—astrology was often part of these programmes. After thirteen years in banking, I could no longer ignore the call for a radical change that had been growing within me for some time (astrologically reflected by Uranus transiting my Ascendant). I resigned from the bank and began working as a full-time job coach, leading career and application workshops throughout Switzerland. I greatly enjoyed both the independence and the human aspect of this work.
After two years, I felt drawn back to a more demanding role in the corporate world and became Programme Director for Professionals and Executives at a large insurance company. However, life had other plans. A health crisis forced me to step away from everyday life for several months. During this time, I worked intensively with alternative healing methods, including Emotion Code and Body Code (developed by Bradley Nelson), EFT tapping, sound and voice work, and angelic energy healing. At the same time, I began a professional astrology training programme at SFER in Zurich to systematically develop the knowledge that had been simmering within me for years but had always remained in the background. At last, I created space for the vast and fascinating field of astrology.
Eager to learn, I absorbed everything I could and devoted every spare minute and every ounce of energy to studying this remarkable subject. I never really questioned whether astrology could be true. Ever since I can remember, I have known that the movements of the planets and stars form a four-dimensional mirror of our three-dimensional earthly reality. Much depends on how skilfully the astrologer can read this mirror and translate it into meaningful and understandable language. During this period, I also took on a psychological leadership role, managing groups involved in assessing the potential of individuals with psychological and physical challenges.
In the spring of 2021, the publisher and renowned mundane astrologer Claude Weiss entrusted me with the editorial leadership of the professional and beautiful magazine ASTROLOGIE HEUTE. After 28 issues and almost five years, I could no longer ignore the inner calling towards full self-employment as a consulting psychological astrologer and entrepreneur. Consequently, I left my position at the end of 2025. I founded Kissing the Stars in the spring of 2023 and have since had the pleasure of welcoming wonderful clients into my practice.
At the beginning of 2026, I fulfilled a long-held dream and spent several weeks exploring what I consider the craziest city in the world: New York City. Recharged with inspiration and new perspectives—which my strong Sagittarius emphasis in the 9th house absolutely loves—I am deeply excited about this new chapter and the work I do through my astrology practice, Kissing the Stars.
After many years of learning, exploring, and gaining experience, I am ready to guide you into the magical world of the stars, so that you can return to your own life enriched with greater self-understanding and clarity.
